Cody D.

Cody attended college at Missouri State University where he earned degrees in Finance and Management as well as a minor in Legal Studies of Business. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. While in law school, Cody served as a staff member and then Articles Editor for the UMKC Law Review, Justice and then Chief Justice of the UMKC Law School Honor Court, Chief Justice of the UMKC Superior Court, and volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance clinic.

Prior to joining Brown & Ruprecht, PC, Cody worked for a Midwest regional firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation defense. Cody also previously interned with the Honorable Roseann Ketchmark of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri while in law school. In his free time, Cody enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

In October 2021, Cody obtained dismissal with prejudice at trial on behalf of a dental practice in Jefferson County, Missouri.

In July 2021, Cody obtained judgment in favor of a dentist at trial in Audrain County, Missouri.

In December 2020, Cody obtained a judgment in favor of a dentist and dental practice at trial in Green County, Missouri.
