As a young lawyer, Frank provided free legal services to homeless families at the Salvation Army Family Shelter in Kansas City and the empathy for clients under extreme stress he developed there influences his work with commercial bankruptcy, insolvency, and litigation. For over 25 years inside and outside state and federal courts, Frank has worked extensively with commercial creditors and debtors to aggressively protect their interests and to resolve their legal problems. Frank speaks and writes on issues of bankruptcy, real estate, and mechanics’ lien issues.

In re Sherman, 67 F.3d 1348 (8th Cir. 1995) – represented bankruptcy trustee in recovering fraudulent transfers.

In re Young, 207 Fed. Appx. 735 (8th Cir. 2006) – filed involuntary bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of a client defrauded in a cattle Ponzi scheme leading to a significant recovery for client.

Hartford Fire Insurance Company v. P&H Cattle Co., Inc. – represented client in obtaining judgment on indemnity contract.

In re Lupfer Brothers – represented secured creditor in bankruptcy case filed under Chapter 12.

In re R.M. Taylor, Inc. – represented debtor’s estate in recovering preferences.

Centennial Management Services, Inc. v. Axa Re Vie – represented reinsurer in litigation arising out of insurance company insolvency proceedings.

In re LeBlanc Inc. – represented parent company in bankruptcy of insolvent subsidiary and sale of subsidiary’s manufacturing unit.

Dean Machinery Co. v. Union Bank – represented debtor in UCC priority dispute and conversion claims.

In re Bedrock International, LLC – represented unsecured creditors’ committee in obtaining an 80% Chapter 11 plan and subordination of insider interests.

In re Purcell Holdings, LLC – represented warehouse real estate company in successful Chapter 11 reorganization.
